New York's First Female Governor, Kathy Hochul

The New York State Federation of Democratic Women works to ensure that women have an organized voice in New York State politics and government.

We are affiliated under the umbrella of the the National Federation of Democratic Women (NFDW), which is officially  recognized by  the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and currently holds one seat on the DNC Executive Committee and two seats on the DNC general committee.  The NFDW  is also a proud member of the national ERA Coalition.
